Grilled Pita Bread Stuffed With Feta Cheese

3 medium pita breads, olive oil for brushing
¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Freshly ground pepper


Directions:

Cut each pita bread in half, open gently then brush inside with olive oil. In a small bowl, combine feta cheese, oregano and pepper. Sprinkle the inside of each pita with 1½ to 2 tablespoons of the feta mixture; press down with your hands. Brush both outer sides on each pita with olive oil and grill until lightly browned and the feta cheese has melted.

Serve: Cut into wedges and serve with your favored salad or as an appetizer.
