Without a doubt an incredible amount of talent, drive, confidence, countless hours of practice and outstanding quality ingredients. It also takes sponsorship from the food community and organizations like yours that believe supporting talented cooks in high visibility events such as the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival makes good business sense. Presented by Food & Wine Magazine and sponsored this year by Food Network, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival is a premier international culinary event so you know it will be top notch and the media will be paying attention! The line up of national talent is fabulous – Martha Stuart, Emeril Lagasse, Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay and Gaida deLaurentis to name just a few of the headliners who will be sharing their talents and tips. Cooking With Georgia will be among those serving the finest cuisine to the estimated 25,000 attendees throughout the weekend. A portion of the proceeds will benefit students pursuing culinary and hospitality careers at Florida International University . One of the country's top culinary schools, FIU is dedicated to training tomorrow's chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality managers. The first day of the event will be reserved just for industry professionals who will be looking for resources and checking out the competition. Cooking with Georgia participated in the 2006 Food & Wine South Beach Event with tremendous success and rave reviews. With one of the most heavily visited tables, Cooking with Georgia served approximately 20,000 people throughout the weekend and was featured on the ABC TV affiliate in Miami . We will be returning in 2007 to a larger, more prominent location and will be also be selling Georgia 's cookbooks. In addition to these three cookbooks (more on in the works), Cooking with Georgia has a television show currently aired in 17 cable markets across the country and a catering company serving the metropolitan Boston area. The increasing popularity of the food and wine festivals over the past couple of years has made it a challenge to continue to exhibit throughout the USA several times per year without being subsidized through sponsorship or generous individual contributions. We know we can achieve our goal of bringing the weekly Cooking With Georgia television show to national cable television but we need your help. We are asking you for corporate sponsorship to subsidize our travel and provisions expenses. In return for your gracious contribution, we would help advertise your firm by prominently including your logo on our booth display.
