Despina Sarianides

The daughter of cooking personality Georgia Sarianides, Despina Sarianides was immersed from an early age in the interrelated worlds of food, restaurants and entertaining. A graduate from the University of Massachusetts with a double major in Business Management and Marketing. Despina focused on learning as much about business as Georgia was teaching her about food. She went on to hone her management skills at Allied Domecq a Wine & Spirits Company which also owed Quick Service Restaurants. Despina went on to development several successful restaurant concepts. With one eye on the future and the other on Georgia , she became a certified television producer, trained in modeling and acting and had fun doing voiceovers on radio.

A lively blend of Georgia 's passion for food, teaching and entertaining with Dez's contemporary flair and passion for healthy living, leaded Georgia and Despina to “Cooking with Georgia ” is an award winning cable television show currently aired in 17 markets across the country. For the past six years, Despina has worked as floor director and monthly co-host of this mother-daughter show which entertains as well as teaches that it's all about food, family and fun. In recent years, Despina has created L.S. Entertainment, LLC, a management firm which has enabled her to devote all of her time to carrying Georgia 's message of Real Food, Real People, Real Simple to the national and international audience.

Participating as recipe source, cookbook editor and co-author of an upcoming cookbook, on camera and off Despina is back to where she started and where she loves to be – in the kitchen with Georgia !
